Issue #104 has a cover story on Imelda May, the Irish lass who is rockin' the world with her great band (includes her husband Darrel Higham who should be well known to our readers). Another feature is on Jerry LEe Lewis drummer Tarp Tarrant, who played with the Memphis Beats and also backed Chuck Berry, Lttle Richard and lots of others! This interview is so long it will take 3 issues to run it all! We also have a story on Western Swing artist Tex Williams - best known for his hit version of Merle Travis' song "Smoke Smoke Smoke That Cigarette." We have interviews with both Jason D. Williams (who has now gone public with the fact that he IS actually an illegitimate son of Jerry Lee), and another rockin' piano pounder Kyle Esplin. We also have a pictorial on Portland, Oregon's Waterfront Blues Festival. We are very sad to report that the photographer who contributed these pictures and many others for us over the years, Tom Hunnewell, passed away Saturday, Oct. 25!
